From Chekov to contemporary, I love a black box with short intermissions.
I’ve played leading ladies, elves, and most things in-between.
I’m proficient in legit, mix, and belt techniques with a range of 3 octaves to e-flat.
I’ve got industrial, broadcast and print under my belt.
I’ve played a caring mom and a caring teacher and a caring friend. Maybe someday I’ll play a villain?
I’m an actor in theater and film (SAG-AFTRA-eligible and Equity-eligible) and write nonfiction articles and books. I live in Fort Worth, TX with horses and cows and cheese enchiladas and my husband Gordon and my teenagers Drew and Maddie and my ridiculous pug Eloise, aka “The Eyeballs.”
I love gritty roles (like Chekov’s Masha), but I will always have a soft spot for the big color and music of children’s theater. If I could oscillate between serio-comic film roles and historic parts in stage adaptations of great literature, this would be my own personal heaven.
